What coaching is, and what it isn't.

Last updated September 27, 2026

Who I am

I'm an Institute for Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I'm not a licensed physician, therapist, counselor, psychologist, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare provider.

Coaching is not medical care or therapy

Health coaching and grief coaching are supportive, educational services. They don't diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition, and they aren't a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Grief coaching is not grief counseling or psychotherapy. If you're finding it hard to cope, a licensed mental health professional can help, and coaching can work alongside that care.

The content on this site

The articles, free guides, and other content on this site share general information and my own experience and perspective. They're for education and inspiration only, not personal medical, nutrition, fitness, or mental health advice.

Talk with your doctor or another qualified provider before making changes to your diet, exercise, sleep, or medications, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury.

Your choices are your own

You're responsible for the decisions you make about your health. Everyone's body and life are different, and I can't promise any particular result from coaching or from using the information on this site.
